Citizen Centric Reporting
The Association of Government Accountants, the thought leader for
the government accountability profession, evaluates reports for the
Certificate of Excellence in Citizen-Centric Reporting award. AGA
determines award recipients based on content, visual appeal,
readability, distribution, and timeliness of reporting.
Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council's Annual Report
to the Citizens of Massachusetts received the Certificate of
Excellence in Citizen-Centric Reporting for the
fourth year in a row.
“We are proud of our success in helping to improve the lives of
individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, and it
is an honor to be recognized by the Association of Government
Accountants,” said Dan Shannon, Executive Director,
Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council. “This award
reflects the hard work of our Council members and staff and our
commitment to serve the citizens of the Commonwealth.”
“This Certificate of Excellence is recognition of
our efforts and commitment to transparency
and communicating our performance to the
taxpayers.” said Craig Hall, CFO and member
of the AGA’s Boston Chapter.
